Where to find us

Booth #24, in the Learning Lounge

AAMP’s final floor plan puts us in a double space on the side wall of the expo hall, in one of the three Learning Lounge positions. It is the room where breakfast, the breaks and lunch all happen, so you will walk past us several times a day.

  1. Come in through the main entrance and follow the wall aisle on the side of the PA stage.
  2. Pass booths 28 to 25 and the stage. Booth #24 is the first booth after the stage, before the second food station.
  3. Sit down, rest your chin, and we image the capillaries under your tongue. Under five minutes, no needles.

Why we are at this conference

Where this programme meets the endothelium

Toxicity, persistent infection and autoimmunity are systemic. The endothelial glycocalyx, the gel-like lining of every blood vessel, is where systemic processes meet the vessel wall, and it is a layer you can measure directly.

Chronic infectionDays 1 and 2 are built around persistent infection: tick-borne disease, parasites, biofilms and polymicrobial illness.

Infection is among the best-studied causes of glycocalyx injury. In resuscitated sepsis, the sublingual perfused boundary region was significantly higher than in healthy controls and tracked the shedding marker syndecan-1. In people living with HIV, the same measure improved progressively over the first year of antiretroviral therapy.

AutoimmunityDay 3 follows a case from tick exposure to psoriatic arthritis, then turns to PANS and PANDAS.

In 297 patients with psoriatic disease, the perfused boundary region was higher and microvascular perfusion lower than in matched controls, and the difference grew with disease severity. It also tracked coronary flow reserve and carotid intima-media thickness.

Toxicity and detoxificationDr Anderson’s detoxification framework runs through all three days, ending with blood filtration and removal modalities.

Here the useful question is a practical one. A detoxification protocol is a sequence of interventions over months; an objective microvascular measurement before it starts and again afterwards tells you whether the vessel wall registered the change. That is the measure, restore, verify workflow we will run at the booth.

Why the measurement means somethingEvery session in this programme describes a systemic process. The glycocalyx is where systemic processes meet the vessel wall.

In 915 adults from a Dutch population cohort, deeper red-cell penetration into the glycocalyx was strongly associated with poorer microvascular perfusion, explaining roughly 47% of the variance.

The conference

About AAMP Fall Conference

AAMP — Advanced Applications in Medical Practice — was founded in 2016 by Dr Paul Anderson as advanced, beyond-the-basics education for physicians already practising integrative medicine. Fall 2026 is both its twentieth international conference and its 10 year celebration, themed “Chronic Disease Epidemic: Advanced Applications” around toxicity syndromes, chronic infections and autoimmunity.

It is a hybrid meeting: attend in person at the Hilton Scottsdale Resort & Villas, follow the live stream, or watch the recordings afterwards. The programme carries 18 AMA PRA Category 1 credits, six of them applicable to pharmacology if you are eligible, with expert panels every day and evening workshops.

It is deliberately small and single-track: no more than four faculty a day, so each topic gets real depth, with evening workshops and panels rather than a sprawling exhibition floor. That intimacy is the reason it suits us — conversations here run long.

Who attends: Integrative, functional and naturopathic physicians — a naturopathic-heavy mix of NDs, MDs, DOs and nurse practitioners treating complex chronic disease.

Why we are there

  • Toxicity, persistent infection and autoimmunity all converge on the endothelium. This programme describes the damage; we bring the instrument that shows it.
  • A previous AAMP conference was given over entirely to integrative cardiology, so the room already has the vascular vocabulary — and AAMP asks exhibitors to bring science rather than a sales pitch, which suits how we would rather talk anyway.

Does the conference carry CME credit?
AAMP lists 18 AMA PRA Category 1 credits for the Fall 2026 programme, six of them applicable to pharmacology if you are eligible. The sponsored and Learning Lounge sessions are non-CME. Confirm your own eligibility with AAMP when you register.
Can I attend online?
Yes. AAMP offers three ways to attend: in person, by live remote stream, or through the post-conference recordings, which stay available to registrants with no expiry. AAMP lists registration at $1,295 per person. The GlycoCheck™ assessment itself is in person only, at Booth #24.
What is the AAMP Learning Lounge?
A relaxed corner of the expo hall where, each day, attendees put on headphones and hear further presentations from three specialists, seated or walking the room. The sessions are recorded for viewing after the conference. Hans Vink, PhD presents “The Missing Link in Chronic Disease” there for the Glycocalyx Research Institute.
When is the best time to visit Booth #24?
The expo hall opens an hour before the first lecture each morning, and there are 45-minute breaks mid-morning and mid-afternoon plus a 75-minute lunch. An assessment takes under five minutes, so any of them works. Use the “Best times to visit Booth #24” filter in the agenda to see them all.
Is this AAMP’s anniversary conference?
Yes. Fall 2026 is AAMP’s twentieth conference and marks ten years since Dr Paul Anderson founded it. The Friday evening reception, 6:00 to 7:30pm, is the 10 Year Celebration.

What is GlycoCheck™?
GlycoCheck is a non-invasive imaging system that measures the endothelial glycocalyx and microvascular health directly, under the tongue. It produces an objective Microvascular Health Score rather than an estimate from a questionnaire.
How long does the assessment take?
The assessment itself takes under 5 minutes, and you can review and understand your results within a few additional minutes. Most people are done, results explained, inside ten.
Does it hurt, and is it invasive?
No. It is entirely non-invasive — a small camera images the capillaries under your tongue. There are no needles and no blood draw.
What is ReVasca™?
