Robert Long

Lance Allison
Connect on LinkedInLance Allison, Chief Technology Officer, joined the Institute in late 2024 and leads its technology and eCommerce platforms. He has served as CEO and CTO of technology businesses, founding and selling two over the past twenty years, and is an experienced Shopify partner. From a technical background, he studied business at Cranfield University in the UK.

The Glycocalyx Research Institute, founded in 2012 and led by Dr. Hans Vink and Robert Long, aims to provide education and training on the endothelium glycocalyx and the microvascular system, as well as consult and design glycocalyx and microvascular-based research studies.
The Institute creates and delivers medical devices and nutritional supplements that monitor and support the health and well-being of the endothelial glycocalyx and the microvascular system.
